Pricing FAQ

Answers to common questions about credits, plans, users, hosting and commercial terms.

What are Credits?

100 Credits equals approximately 1 US Dollar on the Launch plan. Larger plans get more Credits per Dollar.

See our detailed Rate Card to see how Credits are allocated for your plan.

Some Credit quantities are fixed, such as the kind of Server you have. Others are variable, such as active users and AI tokens used. You can see amounts used in your Credits dashboard.

Will Prices increase significantly in the near Future?

No. Unlike most of our competitors, our model is sustainable for the long term, so we will not have to raise prices significantly to make a profit.

How do I choose which Plan to use?

You can pick a plan based on the top-level description and be reasonably confident it will meet your requirements.

You can also drill down to our Rate Card, which provides precise detail on what each plan provides, plus options for additional Credit Packs.

The Free Plan lasts 3 months (no credit card required) and should be enough time to assess whether Anybuild has the capabilities you need.

The Trial Plan is available for a further maximum of 6 months after the Free plan expires – at a highly discounted rate – should you need a bit more time to fully assess Anybuild.

The Launch Plan, which includes Production Hosting, is ideal for startups and departments, for example local businesses such as a vet, real estate agent, legal practice, architects or car dealer.

The Growth Plan is a good fit for medium-sized businesses ($5M to $30M turnover) that require unique custom functionality that gives them a competitive edge.

The Business Plan is designed for large businesses ($30M to $100M turnover) with high demands for AI automation, deep data insights and operational excellence.

The Enterprise Plan caters for large businesses with thousands of customers and users, for example agencies, accounting bureaus and large consultancies.

Can I buy more Credits without moving Plans?

Yes. You can buy 5,000 Credits packs for any Plan without changing Plans.

Do Unused Credits Expire?

Unused Credits included within the Plan do expire at the end of each month.

5,000 Pack Credits purchased do not expire, so you can purchase a pack near the end of a billing month without the risk of wasting them.

Are Costs Predictable?

Most Plan Items are a fixed cost. The main variable cost is AI Tokens.

Because of our data model architecture, Anybuild is very efficient at using Tokens for Creator tasks. For workflow tasks such as capturing data from PDF documents, you can see in real time how many Credits are used. The cost should be hundreds of times cheaper than the labour time saved.

You can also set spend alerts and cap maximum spends for variable charges so budgets are not exceeded.

Why is there a big jump in price from Trial to Launch Plans?

The Free and Trial Plans are heavily subsidised with 100% and 70% discounts.

This enables prospective customers to fully assess Anybuild at a very low cost and without risk.

Production plans are also more expensive because they run on higher-spec machines that can reliably serve thousands of concurrent users.

Most users are happy to move up to a Production Plan because the amount of value they can derive from Anybuild is huge – many hundreds or thousands of times any of the plan costs.

Developers are also happy to pay for Anybuild Production Hosting because they can build valuable Applications so quickly, then charge their clients many multiples of the Plan charge. They also appreciate the convenience and time saving compared with deploying directly on platforms like AWS and Vercel – where the cost is similar but the value received is a tiny fraction of that from Anybuild.

Why are Anybuild Plans more expensive than Lovable, Replit, Bolt?

Vibe coding tools like Lovable, Replit, Bolt and similar advertise plans at extraordinarily cheap prices. These tools are focused on the rapid creation of websites and simple apps, not so much on long-term hosting, which is often with another platform such as Supabase.

Anybuild, with its roots in ERP and CRM, is focused on creating and hosting more complex enterprise-grade, data-driven Applications that are robust, reliable, secure and scalable.

Anybuild is upfront and transparent with its pricing, unlike others such as Lovable which make it difficult to discover the true cost of their hosting options such as Lovable Cloud.

AI Token costs are also typically higher and more difficult to predict for these tools than with Anybuild.

Of course their VC-funded subsidies cannot last forever, so significant price rises are inevitable, unlike with Anybuild where Production Plans are priced to cover our costs and our subsidised Trial Plans have time limits.

What are Creators?

Creators are Super Users who can access the full power of Anybuild, including the design and creation of new Applications, Workflows, Reports, Portals and Forms, all with the full power of AI. Creators can also configure Organizations, Users, Roles and Security.

What are Pro Users?

Pro Users are registered login users of Applications running on the Anybuild Platform. They are typically known, trusted, long-term repeat users such as Employees and Contractors.

Pro Users may have unlimited interactions with the system, including entering Master Data and Transactions and running Reports and Workflows.

Creator users are required to change or extend the system, for example creating new Reports, Dashboards or Workflows.

What are Light Users?

Light Users are occasional users who interact less than 5 hours per week.

They are typically external users, for example Customers who can enter orders and view statuses via a Customer Portal.

Light Users are counted on an active-in-the-month basis, so occasional customers will not count as users in months after the sale is complete unless they return and enter a new order.

What about Website Visitors?

Website Visitors who only view web pages, and who do not log in or enter transactions, are Free of Charge. They do not use any Credits.

What are Applications?

Applications group related functionality and users into a single container for management and security purposes. They can be large and highly complex, for example ERP, or simple, for example an Appointments Manager.

What are Portals?

Portals are like separate websites within an Application, typically related to a particular function. For a custom CRM Application you might create 3 portals: one for the Sales Team, one for Customer Support and one for Marketing.

What are Entities?

Entities represent real or abstract things that have independent existence, for example a Person, Company, Customer, Invoice, Account or Product.

As with Tables in a Database, more complex Applications require more Entities. 200 Entities would be a large, complex App.

What are Workflows?

Workflows are automations with predefined steps.

Workflow Examples

Billing – Totals the hours booked that had not been billed in a period, then creates new invoices based on these hours and the pricelist, then emails those invoices automatically on a set day per week or month.

Stock Replenishment – Forecasts demand based on Sales Orders and Opportunities, creates suggested Purchase Orders to ensure enough stock will be in place, obtains approval and sends Purchase Orders to the best Suppliers.

What are AI Automations?

AI automations are like Workflows, but where the logic is more fuzzy and therefore requires an AI agent to resolve a task. For a Bank Reconciliation between Bank Statements and the Accounts, an AI agent could automatically download statements, check that they do not overlap or have a gap with previous downloads, then match transactions using fuzzy logic, such as a total on the statement equalling multiple payments before the bank date. That kind of fuzzy logic was very difficult to code in traditional workflows, so it previously required human intervention.

What are AI Tokens In and Out?

We have to pay the LLM providers like OpenAI, Anthropic and others for intelligence consumption based on Tokens in and Tokens out.

One token is approximately two-thirds of an average English word. Token costs cover the original creation and training of the model plus the compute cost of processing requests (inference). Even open-source models have significant inference costs.

Tokens are used when creating Apps and for AI Automations.

We have based token cost on using the latest highly effective models, such as Claude Sonnet 5 (as of August 2026).

Output Tokens are much more expensive than Inputs.

Creating Apps uses the most Output Tokens. However, AI Automations use much fewer Outputs than Inputs. If AI is extracting key data from a large document, the input tokens would be hundreds of times the output.

Because Anybuild creates Apps using its Entity Relationship model at a higher level of abstraction than traditional code, building apps with Anybuild typically uses far fewer Tokens than other AI Application builders.

How can I assess my AI Token requirements?

Anybuild uses fewer tokens than other AI Builders for creating Applications because the source of truth is defined by our Entity Relationship Data Model, which is at a higher Abstraction level than code.

This model is also more reliable, easier to understand and easier to maintain than Code, so iteration and improvements also use fewer tokens.

AI Usage Examples (Launch-plan dollar equivalents)

Build Sales Dashboard 500 Credits $5
Approx 10 sections with Charts, Tables, Lists etc – 5 iterations

Create a Simple Application 3,000 Credits $30
eg Property Manager for Sales and Rentals, tracking all activity with multiple iterations – 50 Entities, 100 Views, 2 Portals

Process 100 pdf Invoices 400 Credits $4
Extract purchase data from 100 pdf documents, match to Suppliers and Items, assign correct GL codes, post amounts to a Purchase Invoice batch.

Bank Reconciliation 150 Credits $1.50
Match 100 Bank Statement Values to Ledger Receipts and Payments

Create a complex SQL Report 75 Credits $0.75
eg Sales Report with multiple parameters and dimensions such as by Product Lines / Categories / Regions / Sales Person / Business Unit etc

What is Bandwidth / CPU / RAM / Storage?

CPUs are the Central Processing Units allocated to your Server(s). This determines the computer processing power available to run your system and is approximately equal to a physical core on latest x86 servers such as Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids.

RAM GB is the amount of fast volatile memory allocated to your Server(s). CPUs and RAM directly affect performance. More users and more workflow-intensive applications require more compute resources.

Storage is the amount of Gigabytes used by Database and Filesystem files specific to your Organization.

Bandwidth Out is the amount of output data volume in a month in Gigabytes. Unless you serve large amounts of media such as videos, Storage and Bandwidth requirements are typically modest.

What are Servers?

Each customer gets a separate isolated server with a dedicated PostgreSQL Database, so single-tenant by default. This is inherently more secure than multi-tenant systems. Some plans include more than one server, which may be used to separate Test and Development from Live production and for other purposes such as Training.

What is Multi-tenancy RLS?

Multi-tenancy with Row Level Security is an option for larger customers such as Agencies who may wish to serve multiple clients from a single server. Row Level Security ensures that each client can only access their own data without providing a separate server to each client.

What are the different Hosting options?

All plans automatically include fully managed Hosting, which includes authentication, at least one Server with a dedicated PostgreSQL database, CDN, backups and more.

Creator Hosting is primarily for the Design / Create / Test / Iterate phase. It is fine for multiple Test users but not for Production with hundreds of users. It includes daily backups.

Production Hosting includes everything required to reliably serve hundreds of live users. It includes log backups every 6 minutes, CDN and Advanced Security with 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) and Passkeys.

Enterprise Hosting is a premier plan with advanced features such as Automatic Failover to a hot standby server and multiple CDN points of presence with advanced DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) protection.

What is Advanced Support?

All paid plans include Standard Support.

Advanced Support provides additional benefits such as an improved SLA (see terms and conditions) and a dedicated human support manager who will learn and understand your unique business requirements.

What is Advanced Compliance?

Advanced Compliance provides additional data governance features such as comprehensive Audit Trails for all activity, unlimited Version tracking and Approval Workflows.

What is Advanced BI (Business Intelligence)?

All Plans include powerful BI capabilities.

Advanced BI extends this with features such as:

Anybuild Spreadsheet that can seamlessly access any Entity or View Data and can push Data back into Entities.

External Data Integrator to add External Data Sources such as Databases, ERPs and CRMs. That may also require API connectors.

What is CMS (Content Management System)?

For Data Driven Websites such as eCommerce Product Catalogues, CMS provides an unlimited number of collections and items, seamlessly integrated with any Entity Data.

What is DMS (Document Management System)?

Anybuild DMS manages important documents such as contracts within the Anybuild Database. It includes advanced AI OCR to capture key data such as Parties, Locations and Dates, plus advanced exact and fuzzy search, Approval Workflows and document creation and editing.

Can I easily cancel my plan?

Yes. You can cancel your plan online at any time and you will not be charged from the next renewal date.

Can I monetize my Application?

Yes. Choose a Production Hosting Plan. You can charge your customers in any way that makes sense. We provide monitoring tools and dashboards so you can track user activity and consumption.

We provide access control and billing components so you can set up access charges and recurring subscriptions. You can also set up Ad Networks such as Google AdSense for pay-per-click income.

Who owns the IP of my Application?

Any new Applications and Components that you create are owned by you. This does not include components made by cloning or copying components previously created by us or other creators.

Can I monetize my IP?

Yes. You can sell components to other creators and developers on the Anybuild platform via the Anybuild Store. You keep 80% of the revenue.

Can I move my Application away from the Anybuild platform?

Yes. For a charge of $2,500 we can migrate your Application to a server controlled by you. We will install Linux, Postgres, Node and related software and configure it to run your Application with the same data and functionality it had on our platform.

This is a one-way migration and you will lose access to our AI CLI, harness and No-Code development tools, so further development would require coding in JavaScript and SQL.

Anybuild includes excellent data export tools at no extra charge, so it is easy to move any data you require out of our platform into other Databases or Excel.

Can I buy Credits without changing plans?

Yes. You can purchase packs of 5,000 Credits for any Plan without changing Plans.

Do you offer Custom Plans?

Yes. If the published plans do not fit your scenario, please contact us for Custom Pricing.

What happens if I miss a payment, will I lose data?

If you miss a payment on a paid plan, we will keep your system live for 31 days after your due date, then we will freeze your system. That prevents user access and data input but keeps your Application functionality and data in the state it was when frozen.

If you pay all arrears within 60 days of the missed payment date, we will unfreeze your application and put it live again.

After 60 days of non-payment we will delete your system environment.

Within 12 months of deletion we may be able to restore a deleted system for a payment of 6 months at your last plan rate, but we cannot guarantee this.

What are ERP and CRM users?

Optional modules for ERP and CRM can be accessed for an additional per-user cost on top of the Pro and Light User cost.

Comprehensive functionality is available, including multi-currency multi-company General Ledger, Inventory management, Billing, Purchasing, Banking, Projects, HR, Opportunity Management and more.

You can seamlessly integrate these modules with your Custom Apps by sharing Entities such as Customers and Items.
