About This Guide
This is the Creator Guide - it covers Anybuild Creator, the environment where applications are designed and built.
It is written for Creators and Administrators: the people who specify, model, and evolve applications, and who configure security, automation, and the user interface for everyone else. If you are a Data Entry User working inside an application that someone else built, this guide is not aimed at you - ask your administrator for help specific to that application instead.
A second track, the Platform Guide, covers the same applications from the point of view of business users who use point-and-click and AI features without writing any code. It shares the orientation material in this section with the Creator Guide, then diverges once it gets into day-to-day feature use.
A third track, the Developer Reference, covers extending Anybuild with code - PLV8 database functions, Node.js server functions, the API, and working with external AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
How to use this guide
Section titled “How to use this guide”This guide is high-level by design. It explains what each part of the platform is for and how the pieces fit together - it is not a field-by-field reference for every option in every panel.
For that level of detail, use the Help button available throughout Anybuild Creator. It provides detailed, contextual help for the screen you are on - for example, the Entity designer has its own Help button in the top right corner covering every field and option available there.
Application-specific help
Section titled “Application-specific help”Applications built on Anybuild can have their own help content, written by the Creator who built them. This is configured in the Designer and appears via the Help button on Data Entry screens, so end users get guidance specific to the application they are using - not generic platform documentation.
Getting access
Section titled “Getting access”Anybuild Creator requires an account. If you do not yet have access to a trial, training, or development system, email admin@onedb.online to request one.
